This is a firmware update following an OS patch--very common, as they are always bundled together.
No, this is not for carrier branded device as MS is still testing/collecting data on how this goes. Case in point is my "special" 8X which is now history

yeah, I do. Don't know if this is normal, but the phone I was trying in the shop seamed to not have these "dirty corners". But for me it doesn't matter. I don't find it very disturbing...Sorry to change the subject a bit, but are you experiencing wear on the soft-touch coating of your 8x, Daniel ("dirty corners")?
