Is there a way to get notifications like emails to show when the phone is locked and dark? Looking for the same kind of notification as you get with an iphone... where you can see the notification even when the phone is dark...
Do you mean when the phone is on the lock screen if so go to setting > Lock Screen > Choose app to show quick status, select a box then choose your email.
