Broken Volume Rocker

Hey, I just got an HTC 8x and I took it out of my pocket to find that the volume rocker is kind of mashed in at the bottom. I don't remember dropping it and the volume controls still work fine. From the side, it looks like it is indented near the bottom. I've seen this on phones posted on eBay but no one seems to have a solution. Does anyone here know how I should fix this?

You could try to get a replacement from your carrier or where you purchased the device.

This happened with my HTC HD7 and I just lived with it. It had a similar, skinny volume rocker. It was annoying that one side was mush, but it worked fine like that the entire time I had it. Even as I broke the screen twice...
