Is it possible? I have been calling around to a lot of places and they say "it might work but we have never tried that phone." I have not bought the phone yet, but this seems to be the one I want.

There are Ebay listings that sell this service, because am not a cricket/sprint/verizon user I have not tested this service and dont know the success ratio.
The mods are hot on my trail now, so I guess I have to speed up my car and give them a slip before they bust my bum, I advise you the same .
Just look on Ebay because talking about flashing is now allowed here.

There are no services that offer it for WP8, only android and ios

Hey man.. Since cricket is a CDMA service, there's no sim. But as WP is locked down, there's no access to the boot loader. Flashing requires access to that and also to the IMEI. Don't know if its even possible. Check out xda-developers.com.. That's where I'd look and ask that question.
