Resuming ..... Screen Doesn't 'Resume'

Lately after the device screen has timed out or I've pressed the power button, when resuming the current app, the screen is stuck on "Resuming...." forever until I reset the device. The device is still responsive, I can return to HOME or switch apps, but the moment I try and enter an App, the "Resuming ... " screen comes back.

It's requiring a reset 1 to 2 times a day.

This is a problem that occurs when the other storage or temporary files folder becomes too large. If you have update 3 (GDR3) you can solve this problem by following these steps:

1: Place device into airplane mode (Preferably after hours)
2: Disable automatically adjust time and set date one year ahead of today.
3: Visit phone storage in settings tap temporary files then delete.

this should clear at least 95% of the files and return the phone to normal working order. However if you do not have update 3 you either have to try one of the storage cleaner apps in the store and let it sit overnight or perform a hard reset.
