HTC One M8 Windows Mobile Build 10536 - Frequent random reboots

I'm at my wits end with these reboots but find it rather difficult to go back to 8.1.
I've tried every procedure, soft, hard resets & going back to 8.1 then updating to Build 10536.1004; without restoring from backup.

Does anyone with the M8 have a resolve?

I hope you've reported it through the feedback tool. If it is crashing they'll be getting frequent crash reports and know there's an issue... but you'll likely have to wait for a fix in a future update. Unless someone has a workaround.

M8 here. I get occasional random reboots perhaps once or twice a week, but certainly not to your extent. At least you've ruled out a bad install.

I hope you've reported it through the feedback tool. If it is crashing they'll be getting frequent crash reports and know there's an issue... but you'll likely have to wait for a fix in a future update. Unless someone has a workaround.

M8 here. I get occasional random reboots perhaps once or twice a week, but certainly not to your extent. At least you've ruled out a bad install.

It's 2:49AM here in Jamaica & I'm doing a Windows Recovery Tool rollback to 8.1, then will upgrade to 10536 for a third time. Life of a HTC One M8 TP insider!! My NL925 & son's Lumia 535 doesn't have any issues on 10536; never again will I purchase an HTC.

I had a few reboots in the first two days, but that has stopped for me. I upgraded from 8.1, then did a system refresh without restoring. I don't know why they stopped. This build works well enough for me to use on my only phone.

does the wp recovery tool work well to roll back to 8.1 in the htc m8?

Indeed, tap to wake was something they removed a few builds ago. Would lobe to have it back.
