yes, even the pen for surface pro 3 works as I have the pro 3 and its pen. so any pen works with N-Trig should work, just matter of pressure sensitivity, and newer one have more level of sensititie than older ones.

you can get a usb-c to VGA hub for $15-$20 and works just fine for continuum. hopefully the next surface device would use USB-C port for docking, so same dock / adaptor can fit both the phone and tablet.
