Go to your phone settings, data check (i have it under different language so menus may vary) and make sure the data save option from browsing is unchecked. This may result to your problem.

I got used to the size of 640xl very fast. It feels kinda weird in many sites, as the fonts seem too big for it's screen. Camera's better on xl so is it's black color. I believe though that everything would seem more clear on 640 due to its picture density. I didn't regret getting the big one...

It's a great phone. Something like jack of all trades. Screen's nice no matter the low number of ppi's, great contrast, quite fast, fantastic camera for the price, good feel and construction, great overall quality. It's my first windows phone; been using it for just a week and i am very excited:).
