I can tell you to NOT use. The Nokia DC-910 or whatever it is. I have been using that on my nightstand the past 2 nights and the battery drains faster than the phone can charge (with a night clock on the screen). My LG WCP-30 has been working fine.

I just tred it, but unfortunately it doesn't resume playback in the middle of a track. Looks like I found a winner though. Core Player does resume in the middle of a track, even after a reboot. Nice! I wonder if its the same Core Player I used to use in like 2004 on Windows CE.

There are many apps that let you listen to a locally-stored MP3. I am looking for one that remmbers where I left off on a certain MP3 (long lectures and books), even after I play a different MP3 and come back later. Does this exist? Many kind thanks for any recommendations!
