Just since the last update a couple of days ago, my WIFI is now turning itself off, and it won't let me turn it back on without rebooting. Sometimes I have to remove the battery to get it to work. Anyone else? I hate to have major problems pop up like this in our last days with the phone...

I don't think it has anything to do with apps being pulled. It's a bug, and it happened before, then suddenly, all apps worked. I don't want to do a hard reset at this point. None of the apps are that critical, just an annoyance. It's not time to move on for me. I don't have a FB account...

This was fixed for a couple of months, but now it's happening again. I did a soft reset, but it didn't help. I'm on 10.0.152544.556.

Update: I think I got an update a few days ago (now on 10.0.15254.547) and all apps are now working. Yeah!!!!!

Just in the last week or two, I've noticed lots of apps no longer working. I get the message "{app name} can't be opened. An app update may be available in the Store". Of course there's no update. I've noticed this with these apps: Bible, AP Mobile, Around Me, Best Buy, CellarTracker...

I have two apps, iHeart and myTuner that I have used for years to stream a local AM station to listen to Rush Limbaugh during the day. For some reason, neither of these two apps have worked for the last month or two. Anyone else having this issue?

Glad the Amazon battery worked out for you, but the only battery I see on Amazon that claims to be "genuine OEM" has several bad reviews. Does fast charging work with your new battery?

The battery I got from walmart.com appears to be genuine and has worked out very well.

It's working great. Big improvement, no issues at all. The unexpected afternoon/evening "GoodBye's" are a thing of the past. I'm convinced this battery is the real deal!

Just bought another battery that is supposed to be from MS on walmart.com. Price was $22. I'll report back how it works out. Sounds like the fakes don't support fast charging, so that will be an easy test.

So glad to see your post. I just bought a battery for my 950 from walmart.com and then saw this thread. Hope you are correct and it's legit and from MS.
