Battery life after switching to Windows 10 Home

Battery estimates are 100% based on current activity (CPU), disk access and screen brightness. If the CPU is doing some background work even anti-malware scanning in Windows 10 S mode and you check the estimate it will be lower than when it's not doing that. Battery life estimate is a snapshot...

Has any used/bought the 4gb ram model of the surface go

FYI we shot a mini-review of this yesterday. I like the 4GB version a lot. The hype about it being "bad" is waaaay overstated usually by people who have not touched it. It's totally fine for casual users and even some games. There's no real big difference between the two imo.

    AmFilm glass protector

Yup, agree on it being slightly off, but also not having any impact. We shot a video review of it yesterday, should be up in a few days. I like it though. For $13 you get two of them and the quality of the glass is excellent.

    Andromeda? What happened to Andromeda?

As others noted (thank you!) we've beent talking a lot about Andromeda on AskDan and even the podcast. It's not cancelled. Program is still going forward, we are still getting bits of news around it. We often get a lot of new info and confirm it before writing an article, would rather not...

    Windows Central in Mobile Nation

VR Heads is not exactly "mobile" either ;) And no, the name of the parent company has nothing to do with what we cover here. Indeed, our daily traffic now is nearly tied with Android Central, often beating them. We have seen steady growth in traffic over the last few years; compared to other...

    New Update from HP.

It's math and science, not the phone. The 950XL does the exact same thing.

How much do you know but are not allowed to tell?

Well, these cases were smart covers that showed had a circular opening for incoming calls so you could see their face thru the cover. May have used hall sensor to turn on/off display when opened and closed (Elite x3 has this too). Not sure about Mozo though, maybe it had some role, but they...

So you want to join team Microsoft?

VAIO Z Flip is actually more powerful as it has a 28W CPU (vs 15W) and Iris graphics (not as good as dGPU though).

How much do you know but are not allowed to tell?

There are things we don't talk about or report because (1) We're trying to find more information about it to build it into a story (2) Corroborate the source and information. It'd be annoying if every time we hear a bit or a rumor we did a story. Home Hub is a perfect example. That story was...

This thing was bothering me lately, and I can finally ask it :D

All depends if you're a big camera user; I think the Idol 4S is a great device with only the camera being 'meh'. But, other than that, not to sure what's coming next. I would wait until at least Mobile World Congress (late Feb). We may see some things come out there.

Will add it to my big list of 'things to do'. ;)

What wallpapers do you use? Where do you find them?

I use an app called Wallpaper Studio 10 often. I also use Shutterstock and license some high res ones, which are what's been seen on the Surface Studio and my recent laptop reviews. I can't share those though but you can license them here.
