The Xbox Series X 'Brooklin' refresh is dead to me without this feature

Or they could just announce support for external CD drives. https://www.techradar.com/news/microsoft-has-plans-for-an-xbox-series-s-external-disc-drive

    multiple display setup

For anyone interested, finally got the dual external monitors working by using the Satechi USB-C hub plugged in to the SP7 USB-C and a USB-A to HDMI adapter plugged in to the SP-7 USB-A

    multiple display setup

I purchased an i5 SP7 to replace my aging SP3. I was hoping for it to be a drop-in replacement but unfortunately not as I can't get multiple displays working. Previously I used the Surface Pro 3 docking station mini-display port and SP3 mini-display port to drive 2 HDMI monitors. The docking...

Jason Ward uses Windows phone (for now) and asks why do you?

Forced to go Android for business reasons :( Two lumia 950s for sale here in Europe if anyone is interested....

Should I replace Cortana with Google Assist

Cortana does not have "Hey Cortana" activation on Android.

Do you think the rumored Andromeda device will be able to replace PC's for some consumers?

My SP3 doesn't have the biggest screen, and most of the time I don't use it, I have it connected to 2 desktop screens. It's really only on trains, buses, and presentations I use it as a tablet/laptop. An Andromeda device could conceivably replace this, especially if they manage to come up with...

Anyone looked at the Gear Fit2 as a Band2 replacement?

I'm guessing doesn't work at all with W10M though?

Windows 10 Preview build 15002 Discussion (Redstone 2; Fast Ring)

Why don't you just in-enroll from the insider program?* 15002 is BUGGGYYY for me too.*Unusable, with Edge crashing every 5 minutes, quick actions gone, multi-screen problems etc etc.*I rolled back to 14986.

    Not finding any Insider Previews...

Same issue, stuck on Fast Ring build 14965, not getting updates. Tried switching to slow and back, waited some 48hrs, still nothing. Trying to stop insider updates gives a message that I need to connect to the Internet - which clearly I am connected to, since I'm posting here ....

Microsoft Windows 10 Event Live Blog and Discussion

they're going for the influencers. Challenge is that a large part of "creators" and "influencers" today are startups and developers, in particular app startups and developers. And we know Microsoft is struggling there. Worth noting that Apple never got a lot of marketshare when they were the...

Microsoft Windows 10 Event Live Blog and Discussion

Remember when PC's were for the masses and Apple made the beautiful designer machines for the graphic designers etc? Seems we've swapped ... iOS (iPhone) for the masses and Surface Studio with Windows 10 for "the creators".

So much for W10M as an enterprise device

Thanks for that. Was the same thread where someone said just iOS and Android. The roadmap page (didn't know about that page - thanks again!) relaxes me somewhat.

Lack of mainstream educational classroom apps on W10M?

Sure, but how are you going to get enthusiasm when you drive away your own fans? We're a startup and use Office365. We also have been using Slack and Asana as they do some stuff better than the O365 solutions. But MS released Planner and we're looking at migrating to that from Asana. Skype Teams...

So much for W10M as an enterprise device

Just discovered it's the same for the Planner app. They're developing it for iOS and Android, but not windows mobile.

So much for W10M as an enterprise device

I really dislike the android/iOS interfaces and love my 950 (and previously 920, 535s, 650s), but Microsoft is really pushing me to leave. I signed up today for Microsoft's GigJam preview through our Office 365 subscription. GigJam is some cool looking software for easy realtime feedback...
