martinmc78, you probably have an unlocked 8x that doesn't have LTE. Isn't that right ? That would indicate a difference in hardware between yours and mine. The thing is when I'm in my area (Seattle) I almost always have LTE and because i have an unlimited data plan I don't really care about...

It's always likely some of the hardwares would be faulty but I doubt that is the problem with bulk of the users. Specially when the reboot problem seems to go away if you don't use facebook sync. Also, Microsoft acknowledged the problem and promised to fix it in software updates.

Like I mentioned somewhere else, sim tray doesn't seem to be the root cause of the reboot issue most people are experiencing here.

The reboot issue most people are reporting is probably not related to a hardware version but rather a software problem as it seems to happen on 920 as well.
