I went Pebble. (Pebble Time 2 along with a Pebble Core when it is released). I love the interface and not having a touch screen isn't much of a bother.

Any plan to bring this to iOS? I'd love it...

With my iPhone and Google Maps this works as well. I really enjoy the functionality on road trips. Seems the "hard" part is pushing the notifications from the app. They come through to the Band great.

I'd use the Explore Tile. Minimal GPS use (battery saver) and Run mode is optimized to use step count metric.

People are mad that Band 2 is getting features that Band 1 is not. For 80 dollars, the Band 1 is awesome. But for those that paid 180 or so, they feel cheated by microsoft.

Given iOS's limited support (by design) to 3rd party apps launching other applications, No. Theres no way for a bluetooth device to tell the OS to launch a 3rd party app. It is possible, but not supported by MS, for the Band to Launch Siri on the phone. It isn't possible to relay voice to...

It would be possible on a custom tile i believe. Also if you had an App that sent a default notification, it would show up on the band that way. iOS shows the song playing in the action center...i believe android and WP do the same. It would just be a matter of creating the tile / app. What...

Thanks for the heads up. I signed up! I doubt that the functionality will be 1-1 with the windows and android phones since iOS doesn't allow a different default voice assistant. I could see them making some type of functionality working, piggy backing through the Health app. Fingers...

Did you upgrade from Band 1? Are you a new Band / fitness tracker user? Did you upgrade from a Fitbit / other tracker? Did you move from another smart watch?

Other than Microsoft Band - Developers , the documentation of updates has been sparse...
