The .242 and previous .213 have been very good and stable on the 830. Very minor niggles here and there but overall very good, won't be going back to 8.1 anymore.

I made the jump two days ago from 8.1 to 10586.218 using Windows Insider release preview ring, and everything has been very smooth since. It first updated to .107 then .218 the next morning. Good! I had tried W10M some time ago and used the recovery tool to revert back to 8.1, got the firmware update then.

What firmware do you currently have? My 830 is running 02040.00021.15235.53001

Is there not also a firmware update, or do you also get that through insider?
