Lets hope they still have some inventory left in that timeframe. They are dumping inventory and aren't supporting the device. Too bad, as this is a good piece of kit. Updates can take a bit of time but they do end up resolving most issues (although that can be said of all manufacturers I guess).

I can vouch for the new XBone controller, specifically with Universal Emulator (NESBox). It is detected in the Gadgets app and it seems to work fine with programs that allow for it. A really good feel for those old Sega games.

I'm only popping in to say that my unit is not having issues. As a matter of fact, once they finally updated Gadgets last month, it is working more smoothly than I can remember. But, as is the Microsoft mantra; "Have you rebooted?"

Well this also worked in Win10M (950XL) to restore my charging notification tone. Thanks for that also! Unfortunately the 100+ resets I did to the phone did not seem to ever fix it.

To be recognized as a ringtone, it must be imported using the Windows program appropriate to the PC you will connect to. This seems very similar to this thread: http://forums.windowscentral.com/windows-10-mobile/444041-custom-ringtones-not-working.html

I think you must mean version 1607. If so, that is retail and not an Insider version. What do you have for options under Extras?
