I think every private user should upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. If they want, they can Limit their devices to store-apps only but being on Pro always leaves the Option open to install other programs, which is in any case preferable.

I think I would go with Platinum as I really like the Overall look of the Grey Shell. While the other Colors look great on the Keyboard area I do not like the Burgundy Shell. Also I do not know why Color Options are only available on one model and only in the US

I am using the AU, t I do not have this problem. Maybe you have to change your standard browser in the Cortana settings.

It is indeed under the "extras" page but it is called Voice Activation and not "Hey Cortana"

So yesterday I installed the anniversary Update on my Lumia. It brought improvements to Cortana, but not "Hey Cortana". At least I can use Cortana now without activating my GPS, which is great!

This really annoys me, too. Cortana lost so many features with the upgrade. I hope they will come back with Redstone 2, which focusses more on mobile

Sometimes I am having problems with Cortana, too. Often she would just crash when I try to insert a voice command. But I feel like it got better with the cumulative updates. But still the experience is worse than on 8.1 - but for me setting reminders works fine - on mobile and PC.

So you have the same situation as I do. :/ it makes no sense IMO for Microsoft to enable this feature on PC but not on mobile :((

So "Hey Cortana" is completely unavailable in your localization :/ because I in Germany use the same German region/language on pc and phone but Voice activation is only available on my PC. I cannot comment on battery drain tough as I am using a stationary Computer.

You can simply change the settings on your phone so that your screen never locks automatically. Guess this would solve your problem
