Re: What are you doing without usb-C? Completely agree. I am currently using 3 different types of cables to charge my devices. Micro USB, USB C, and Apple Lightning. Quite annoying.

I haven't turned mine on in over a year. I will give it a charge and let you know how it works these days. I doubt much of the functionality will remain.

I still have Band 1 and 2. I rock the Band 2 every other week. Its hard to beat it. I lose some functionality because I pair it with my iPhone. Its still my preferred smart watch. I also use a Fossil Q Hybrid for discrete smartwatch capabilities. just patiently waiting for a Band 3 to come out.

I'm not an avid user of consumer Skype but if it is anything like Skype for Business using the CTRL+S command while in the conversation will save the conversation to Outlook.

I guess it depends on how soon after starting your Next plan that you wished to end it. Technically they should have a return policy that should allow you to opt out within a certain timeframe. However, I don't think it is going to be cheap to get out of it once that milestone is reached.

Does anyone know a good source to show how to break the 2520 down? My screen no longer comes on and I want to make sure it isn't a simple connection issue. Would rather not take it to a fix it place.

Sadly, the list is few and far between. Especially if you are looking to have notifications syncing. Fitbit honestly is the best choice. Hopefully their acquisition of vector will help bring more functionality to all platforms.

I agree wholeheartedly. It can be very frustrating. I see Microsoft going the way of BlackBerry and using Android. Maybe not now, but I'm a few years. Its hard to build a customer base with no new handsets or apps. Fingers crossed, though. Trying to stay optimistic that a second wind is coming...

I have used both and I feel that the Surge was worse as far as build quality. My MS 2 band was/is holding up but both my wife and I have had to get replacement Surges because the band breaking. Cool thing with fitbit is that they are good about sending you a replacement unit when this happens...

No issues since removing the weather app.

And... It froze again at 9:05am. I'll try removing the weather app as earlier suggested.

I just did a factory reset on it. Waiting to see if it returns.
