Are you sure the connection is dropping or is the app not working in the background? Do you have the fitbit app allowed to run in the background at all times?

My 928 just started doing this as well. Haven't tried cleaning it yet. Tried soft resetting a number of times but that didn't help. I noticed it the first time I tried Spotify but I couldn't say if that had anything to do with it as now all music apps are affected by it.

Sorry to bump an old thread but was this every resolved for anyone? I still have tons of problems with emails syncing between Outlook.com and WP8.1 on my 928. Deletes on the phone are mirrored correctly on Outlook.com but deletes on Outlook.com do NOT delete the same emails on the phone...

That doesn't work here. I went to my install history on windowsphone.com and clicked reinstall. It contacts my phone, says it's downloading, and then says 'App not purchased' and cancels the install.

Can anyone recommend a similar alternative to this app?

Yeah same problem. Don't uninstall it, you won't be able to reinstall it without purchasing it. Kind a **** move by the developer. It's fine if you want to charge for an app but don't screw all the people that are using it already for free.
