Is there anyway to dupe the upgrade process like there was earlier on to get Win10 on unsupported devices, to get GDR2 on R1 devices?

Has anyone figured out how to force this down either onto a 830 or 1520 which is currently on 8.1? I have tried updating via Windows Insider but both go right to 10, I have then downgraded them and attempted again but it never works :(

Is there any way to force GDR2 on my 1520, reverting my phone back to 8.1 after having upgraded to 10 a few times, but every time join my phone to the fast track it directly downloads Windows 10 and not Update 2. Anyone have any thoughts?

It comes and goes if they could say they know about it and were fixing it regardless of how long it takes I would be ok. But when it keeps happening its really annoying :[ Sent from my Lumia 900 using Board Express

Voice search and Bing search pop up the time. I didn't see this pre update, but post update its going on all the time. its pretty much making alot of the functions on the phone unuseable especially playing games. I already have a replacement coming from Amazon but I have to wait 3 weeks...
