I must add, i know of 3 64GB, O2 1020's that have the same fault (like something is constantly pressing the screen), so maybe they have recalled because of this? Communication lacks in most companies, so the fact that you are getting different stories from different places sounds about right...

I have a yellow 32GB, im just gonna skin it i think. That's what i did with my 925. Screen protection is a must for me, too many times now i have risked it only to notice small scratches down the road that drove me crazy and decreased the value.

I had an 820, changed up to a 925, much poorer Wifi AND cellular reception.

Does he have Network Setup app installed? It will find correct APN for his carrier.

For his contacts, you need to go to people hub, options and settings, filter contact list.
