People on this forum have had no success getting W10 to work on ATIV S in the past. This will be no different.

The phone wasn't really marketed or pushed, and has/had limited availability as tends to be the case with a lot of Samsung Windows Phones. (The ATIV SE a Verizon exclusive? Yuck).

You can change that in the phone's SIM settings. From Settings: "Mobile+SIM" (or "cellular+SIM") Scroll down, hit "SIM settings" Change "Highest connection speed" to 3G.

It's doubtful that the ATIV S will even see Windows 10.

Did you get the update directly from Telus, or did you have to switch the phone's CSC?

Because of your particular situation, they may not know themselves how much it will cost until they start digging. If it's a simple fix, it shouldn't be too much (hopefully).

Hey, PC. Forgive me if you've already tried this method, but I always find that Windows Phone updates tend to work better after you perform a reset once the update is complete. If nothing else you've tried appears to help (battery pulls, taking out then re-inserting the SIM card, etc.), perhaps...

I'm not particularly confident that Samsung will release a Windows 10 update. While all WP8 handsets can technically support Windows 10, I'm not certain that Samsung is interested in doing that. I could be wrong, though. To be honest, I'd be more interested in Samsung releasing future W10 devices.
