Yep, no dice. "Backround App update" on iPhone just doesn't work like on a WP. Or OneDrive doesn't work on iPhone like on WP. The photos do get updated on the iCloud, but it's already full :-)

Not really - Onedrive syncs your photos on iPhone only when you open the app. Windows Phone syncs automatically. A huge difference that I miss, now that I have an iStone :-(

Meanwhile, after installing WP 8.1 and after Skype updates, it works! Skype now rings 9 out of 10, which is better than my iPad, that only rings if Skype is open and running. (might be a setting problem, don't know nor care) I might stay with WP a while longer...
