I have a Surface Pro 3 running Windows 11 right now (insider dev. program), and has been for weeks and weeks just fine...so it seems. All my other computers (all more powerful than the SP3) say they don't meet the requirements for Windows 11. I just figured MS is placating to the newer models...

Need a little help/advice, please! my 950XL finally is showing its age...last week my start-up screen was lacking MOST of my apps, swipe left and my app list shows the same dwindled list! The MAIN PROBLEM is I can't access my Settings...the only way I can see contacts (or anything else) is to go...

I think that MS finally figured out that getting mobile consumers to Microsoft's Services is a much shorter route through Android than to try and get them to switch from Android. They tried for years to try it the other way (Windows Phone to Android apps) with no success.

It needs to have a great camera...period!

Robin, I believe the third screen is on the hinge, sort of a notification strip when the unit is in the closed position.

It'd be great if the hinge had a 2 line notification screen that could be for showing incoming caller ID, email notification, calendar appointments, reminders, volume adjustment when the Duo was in the folded position...shouldn't be that hard to do, I would think. That would eliminate the need...

True...but, I will have gone through the motion of pulling out of my pocket my that time anyway, so one more step won't kill me:) - of course I base this lack of mortality on the assumption that the hinge mechanism executes smooth and nimbly :wink:.

Folded, both screens are protected - that alone makes it a better choice for me.

I literally had a tear come to my eye when Panos introduced the Duo (no joke! left eye...right side stayed macho:). I would think that at this early stage - and the release date so far out - Microsoft will keep A LOT of the 'treasured features' close to the vest, to keep the competition...

All Business, I had the same issue on one of my Invokes, with not being able to connect with iHeart - seemed like it was going to connect , but didn't (Cortona said "connecting to iheart radio", then came back with "something went wrong, try again later"). My other Invokes had no issue...so...
