Hi,
Have just used a DVD to install windows 10 Pro and it did install and boots up fine.
Trouble is there is no option to Update in Control Panel.
System only says Win 10 Pro no version #.
It is connected to net okay and everything else seems fine.
1607 Build 14393.5
How can I correct this...
I tried that and many other things such as the 3 youtube Registry changes but it didn't chnage.
It does work however in Safe Mode.
So where to now?
Thanks
HI,
I have joined Mix for streaming and changed the name of the account but now have the original name and the new one. Shouldn't there be just the new one?
Is the user name the same as the account name?
Confusing !
Yes that's basically what I want to do. I don't want XP anymore but want Win 10 x64 there instead.
If I boot to the usb will it give me the optioin to set it up over XP?

They are each on a different drive.

What is the best way for me to install this please?
I have Win10 for a clean install on a USB.
Thanks

I have the upgrade from win7 retail to Win10 x 32 on 1 drive and have installed from DVD Win 10 x 64 on another drive as a dual boot while I set up the 64.
I have an Active Product key for the 32 but the 64 keeps wanting me to Activate.
As I am not going to use the 32 anymore and...
HI,
I have Win 10 x 32 activated for a while and now have Win 10 x 64 on another drive in the same both as a dual boot.
The new 64 install has just asked me to Activate it.
I need access to the original x 32 version as it has my programs, shortcuts on it so I know what to move to the x64 one...
Hi and thanks..
Yes I have Win 10 32 and now want to up to 64. The hardware is all fine too.
I have downloaded the 64 bit iso and burning a DVD now.
How can I update from the current 32 to 64 so that the install sees my current activate code so I am not prompted to pay for a new one...
