    Another desktop replacement success story

    Glad to see a dock success story, mine is going fairly well so far. Not quite as nice of a setup but it works. Got USB Headphones & keyboard and mouse plugged into the back along with the monitor obviously. I've been quite disappointed with the temperature of it - simply having it in the dock...

    Great Touch-Optimized Games for SP3?

    Was thinking of things I wouldn't need a controller for either - more touchscreen games or normal games that have a touch optimized interface. I do need to get myself an Xbox controller though to replace the old crappy thing I have. Oooh that looks good. I've heard of that before because I'm...

    Great Touch-Optimized Games for SP3?

    I've got a SP3 i7 and I'm a huge gamer. I know there's loads of games I can only play with mouse & keyboard but I'd love to find more games downloadable on Steam that work well with touch. The only one I've come across so far is Civilization 5. I'm not talking about Windows Store casual games...

    Weird Conductive 'Feeling' when on charge?

    Just as a note, I got my dock yesterday and I don't feel the buzz when it's hooked into that.

    Docking Station Resolution Changes

    Yes this sort of thing happens with our Windows 8 laptops at work all the time, you end up with comedically huge icons on the second monitor and teeny tiny text on the laptop. Just got a dock for my SP3 and unfortunately it is the same :(

    Weird Conductive 'Feeling' when on charge?

    That's exactly the feeling, yes. Like a slight buzz, probably a better way to put it. It's UK so it's a 3 pin plug plugged into the wall socket. Fair enough if it was actually 'shocking' me but since it doesn't remotely hurt I suppose I never considered it could be anything really serious. I...

    Weird Conductive 'Feeling' when on charge?

    Okay so this may sound weird but I want to know if anyone else has this. I have a Pro 3 with i7/256Gb and I've noticed that when I put it on charge and touch the metal case around the charger it can feel a very slight 'conductive' feeling - that's the only way I can describe it. When I take the...

    Oh dear... Surface Pro 3 buying experience in John Lewis Kingston

    I dunno, seems like you'd need to pay someone a lot more than these guys are (presumably) being paid to stop using their phone in their own break time. It's not like they're employed by Microsoft, they're unlikely to get fired over it, why should they care about Microsoft's brand representation...

    [SP3 i5 / 8GB rant] I can't wait until they fix these overheating issues.

    I have an i7/256Gb Pro and it overheats like a b**ch. Seriously. If I do anything other than browse the internet the fan starts up - even when it's downloading windows updates in the background. It's meltingly hot as well when it does heat up - which is annoying when trying to play games. Great...

    What would you replace your HTC 8S with?

    Beats doesn't matter, but the 8X may still be a nice choice since it's higher specs than the 8S but not *too* much bigger.

    What would you replace your HTC 8S with?

    I would love an 8XT (dat purple) but unfortunately it's not available in the UK ;_;

    What would you replace your HTC 8S with?

    Is it not fairly big though? 4.7" is a fair leap. It seems like even Nokia are dumping small form factor phones even in their budget line. It really hurts because I held a Galaxy S4 Mini and it felt perfect in my hand - only without WP it's no good to me ;_;

    What would you replace your HTC 8S with?

    So I had my 8S for about a year and a half then, a couple of months ago, I dropped it down a drain (RIP <3) Once 8.1 was out, it was actually a decent phone (finally no more factory resets every month), although I started to notice some lag. I love the hardware though and it seems like nobody...

    Facebook message doesn't work properly in messaging.

    Yeah I get this all the time, both the built in messaging and the Facebook app's messaging system is extremely janky and prone to just not working properly - in my experience.
