Which model did you get? Wondering if the i5 can keep up. I have an i5 now and it's been fine but the fanless worries me if the Xe will be generating alot more heat durring gaming sessions.

Is there a possibility that we could get a Thunderbolt port on the surface dock or on the Pro itself? I'd love to pair my surface with a eGPU. I'd suggest that they build a surface dock with a built in eGPU. I have a feeling a form factor like that could be more successful than the Surface Book.

I think it would make sense if they also bought Sonos as well. That would be a solid foothold for Cortana to become a true Siri, Alexa, Ok Google competitor. And that's what the long game is about.

I second the Steam acquisition. Another one that would be out of left field would be Sonos. I think they have a decent foothold in the market, and I think it would be a way for Microsoft to get Cortana back on the map.

The simple thing is to put the phone sideways, if it doesn't quite line up you can use something like a pencil on the base to raise it up. I posted a picture of this in an older forum post somewhere. I will look for it and share the link here.

It will work with all these phones, you just have to be a little creative. I used them with a L950 with a case. The trick is to turn the phone on its side.

Shoot, I just finally caved and bought a Pixel 2 after my 950 battery finally died for the umpteenth and final time. Other than the apps that are finally available now, which is a big deal, I do NOT like Android and miss W10M dearly. If this hangs around I might bite just for nostalgia sake.

With lastpass you and another person can manage a shared password. Like if your spouse changes the Netflix password then it will be updated for you too once you sync. This is mainly because lastpass stores all the data on THEIR servers. Which to me is just basically asking to get hacked since...

I prefer enpass as well. You can't sync shared passwords (like if u share a Netflix password with a spouse) but really how often would you ever change that? I like the security of having my passwords stored in my cloud rather than at lastpass. Much more likely for someone to hack lastpass over...
