re: I totally agree with you. Thats just basically saying turn off every reason you bought the smartphone. Whats the point of having a smartphone and then dumbing it down? I'd rather have a poor battery.

Was same before I installed the battery app. I also have same philosophy as you regarding battery apps. I used only the stock app but later got this too better monitor my battery and see how I can Improve its life.
