What Cases or Accessories are you getting?

A "formula that will be absorbed into the screen"??? Sounds scary to me; could somehow ruin the material over time? Well now that we are talking about a hardness scale, I wonder what the hardness of the glass that the Idol 4s is made from is? In one spot, I saw that it is "Dragontrail" glass...

Alcatel Idol 4S Specs & Features

Note that it uses a NANO (size) SIM card, so if your existing phone uses a Micro SIM card, you're out of luck; will need to buy (and have programmed) a new NANO SIM card. (It also uses the more normal-sized microSD memory card.)

Purchase experience with T-Mobile on the phone.

Going to a store doesn't help either. I tried that last night (yes, it was a corporate store). The clerk not only insisted that I must also by a new SIM card, but that they needed to program it there in the store (thus rendering my existing SIM card useless). And they wouldn't even DO that last...

    Idol 4S $288 at T-Mobile US

Gee, I guess I'll have to jump in soon now also, since the IDOL 4s is the only WP offered by T-Mobile right now (and I need to buy a T-Mobile branded phone because I am on T-Mobile now, and I need to continue to have access to WiFi Calling). I was hoping T-Mo was going to offer the Lumia 650...

    Idol 4S $288 at T-Mobile US

Out of curiosity, on your new carrier, can you still do WiFi Calling? Back in the WP 8.1 days, WiFi Calling was a separate app on T-Mobile branded phones, since they were one of the first carriers to offer it, so they had to develop their own app. So if you wanted WiFi Calling on T-Mobile you...

MS to HTC: HTC One M8 isn't good enough for Windows 10

And now we see that yesterday's announcement of the HTC 10 makes NO mention of Windows 10! It was widely rumored that there would be both Android and Windows 10 versions of this new flagship, but absolutely no mention of Windows 10 in the reports of the announcement that I've been able to...

    Lumia 650 and T-Mobile Wi-Fi Calling

For some of us, not being able to do Wi-Fi Calling on T-Mobile in the USA is a deal-breaker. It doesn't matter how much better the 650 is than my current 635; I cannot move "up" to the 650 if it means losing Wi-Fi Calling on T-Mobile. Yes, the 650 is sold in an unlocked version, and yes, it is...

Does the Lumia 650 do T-Mobile Wi-Fi Calling?

So, this means that T-Mobile USA does not recognize/support the Native Wi-Fi Calling that is part of Windows 10 Mobile?

    Lumia 650 VS. Lumia 830 ? Battle of the metal-framed mid-rangers

Well, perhaps in the past, but not any longer. I see new unlocked North American 830's going for about $299 USD now here in the USA. Yes, that's still above the introductory price of $199 USD for the 650, but I think I would actually pay the extra for the 830 after reading the comparison. But...

    Lumia 650 VS. Lumia 830 ? Battle of the metal-framed mid-rangers

Wow. Thanks for the excellent comparison. You actually sold me on the 830, even though I was interested in the 650 going into this! However, I'm stuck right now and cannot buy either one, because both are unlocked, and so if I popped in a T-Mobile USA SIM into either one, I would not have...
