I feel for you, having such a hard time getting hold of this phone. I picked up my white 820 on Monday, it's lovely. I defiantly recommend it over the black, but you can always buy the white charge shell, if you're going to have a long wait for the white over the black.

Yes, I think it's more standard webfonts like Arial and Verdana that look bad. Google fonts/ font-face seem much better. These fonts seem much thicker on my 820 than my iPhone, resulting in having to zoom in to stand any chance of reading it if they are on the small side.
