Yeah...I'm also wondering if the reason Proshot doesn't really save an actual raw file is because the Idol doesn't natively give you the option to save a raw file. I think whether you pick "sensor - raw" or "sensor - jpeg" it's taking a jpeg, which would explain the aggressive denoising.

Darn, no DNG. Yeah it's weird that switching the aspect ratio changes the resolution by that much. Also weird that you can change the image quality and noise reduction of the raw files but can't do it to the jpeg files. It should be the opposite!
