Are they held hostage by the carriers like everyone else? Or have they been fairly quick to release OS and/or firmware updates? I'm wondering because I'm seriously thinking of replacing my Lumia 635 with a BLU Win HD LTE.

I uninstalled Threema then reinstalled it. It seems to be working ok now. I'm not sure what happened on the first install that caused it to fail catastrophically.

I have horrible burn-in/retention issues with my screen. It's really awful. I'm pretty well disgusted with this phone after coming from a Lumia 620.

Most apps do not require 1 GB of RAM. Most run just fine on 512 MB.

Thank you so much!! I kept having errors about Windows 7 giving me an error of USB device not recognized when my Lumia rebooted into FLASH mode to receive the software update from NSRT. I moved my USB cable to a different set of ports on my computer and it worked!

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. Even on my full Windows 8 tablet I can't sync Google Contacts or Calendar. It's maddening...and really unacceptable.

Whoops, nevermind. Looks like CalDAV/CardDAV was implemented in WP 8 GDR2.

Are the CalDAV/CardDAV options only available in WP 8.1? Or is it also available in WP 8? I've been having awful trouble with my Google Calendar recently just as the posters in this thread have.

I just got a Venue 8 Pro and am in the process of setting everything up. I set up the mail app and I was trying to find a way to make a Linked Inbox, just like I use on my WP8 Lumia. Is there a way to do this? If so, I can't find the setting anywhere.

Version 1.2.1 of Schmoose was released yesterday. It fixed a very annoying stuck tile issue. Nice to see them continuing to update the app after their Android release. Don't abandon us, Schmoose!
