I have synced my gmail calender to my Lumia 900. When someone sends me a calender invite for an event, I am able to see it on my calender, but there is no way to accept or deny it. If I go into Details tab for the invite, I just see Edit, Delete, Respond and Late. The Respond only gives option...

You have got a new email. The icon in the middle refers to new email in a linked inbox, while the one on the right refers to an unlinked inbox
