Accept Calender Invites

I have synced my gmail calender to my Lumia 900. When someone sends me a calender invite for an event, I am able to see it on my calender, but there is no way to accept or deny it. If I go into Details tab for the invite, I just see Edit, Delete, Respond and Late. The Respond only gives option for Reply, Reply All and Forward.
Does anyone know how to accept the calender invites?

This is a longtime failure of Gmail, and there's nothing that can be done. Gmail's "Exchange compatibility" is "85% compatibility."

It's also a problem on many Android phones, ironically enough.

The only way you can accept the invitation is via webmail. Infuriating, but Google's never been very good at making sure their stuff fully works, and they've actively worked to sabotage WP -- even when it impacts user experience, as in the case of Youtube -- so I'd not hold my breath.

I can only second that it's a problem om Android too. I have a Sony Xperia S and I can't accept invitations sent from a Google account. Feels pretty strange that their inrikes don't work with their own OS.
