I finally gave up. After 7 years or more on Windows smartphones, I switched to IOS. The straw that broke the camel's back was the never ending issues with my Lumia 950. On my 3rd replacement for reboots and finally, when the last lockup occurred when I was driving and had to reboot my phone...

If I manually turn on the hotspot, it works fine. It will not turn on via Bluetooth for some reason. Deleted and repaired, but still no joy.

I was hoping for a fix for this too...unfortunately, my Lumia 950 is still having this problem after the update. When I get a text message via Bluetooth in the car, it notifies me I have a text, but when I say read it, it won't respond. .

I think it's just a simple case of clearing out excess inventory. It doesn't mean that MS will no longer carry the phones, it just means they will have a more appropriate level of stock on hand. From the business point of view, carrying excess inventory is a negative point on a balance sheet...

I cannot find where I read this, but I think I read that the fast charging will charge up to 50% in 30 minutes. That doesn't necessarily mean you'll get a full charge in 60 minutes, but fast charging gets you to 50% very quickly. Does anyone else remember where this is documented?

Are you using the charger that came with the phone? You need to be using the quick charging charger that came with the phone for quick charging to work.

Strange...it may be something with the fast ring build. I am running the production build (not fast or slow ring).

Did you try deleting the phone from your car and re pairing it with bluetooth? I am using a 950 with a 2014 Ford Explorer and don't have any issues. Is this an AT&T branded phone, or a dual sim unlocked? What firmware and operating system? I am on the .164 build of the operating system and...

I got it this morning on my AT&T 950 as well. Also got a OneNote update too. My office apps upgraded yesterday so it seems like we are all caught up now.
