Note: I have only used Windows Phone for 3 days. (Currently Android User) I agree with more color. I come from Android and just got my first WP over the weekend. Love the UI but some things such as color are underwhelming. I didn't have many live tiles so most of the tiles were just the same...

You don't think that is too much? That means at least 10 phones from microsoft + variants?

I think I will get a GS5 for now. I figure if I get a windows 8.1 phone now, it won't be updated for windows 10 for a few months anyway, so better to get one that starts with W10 in a few months when it is released.

I was only looking at phones from Microsoft Store / AT&T, I could only find no warranty 930s on amazon/ebay/etc. :(

So I made a post a while ago about waiting for maybe 1030 or 940 before getting a new phone, but a couple days ago my galaxy died so I am in need of a new phone. Picked up the $179 BLU phone last night (thought I would give it a try, even without 4GLTE), as I can return it to Microsoft Store...

I can see all the HTC windows phones (including new one) and only one lumia 928.

Also I think the US since most people still buying phones with contract, the subsidy makes people want to go for mid / high-end phones. Not the low end lumia.

Does anyone know why it costs 70$ more for AT&T version compared to VZ? Verizon sells it for 600$ while AT&T costs 669.99.

I keep getting recommended to get a 1520, but it is far too large for me. I think 5" 1030 would be perfect for me.

I have been waiting to switch to Windows from Android for 6 months now. I can wait until march/april but not another year.

November 2015, My phone is 3 years old now so I was hoping to get a windows phone with the next high end release, but for now it looks like it will be a while. May go with either HTC M8 Windows, onePlus android, or galaxy s5.
