Well, unfortunately I was not able to test the new battery theory, but it might have happened that I charged my 950XL with a ZTE fast charger (9V instead of 5v) I might have ruined the battery, I have no reboots when I am charging the device.... soooo yeah go figures... Will see :)

Hey, I am coming from the 950xl forum, where some of us are reporting the same issue after the upgrade. And for many of us a new battery was the solution.... but tell me., how come it all happened after the upgrade? Maybe the software itself which was buggy? I have not had any issues...

Same is happening to me.... before the update I had no such problem.... any solution besides buying a new battery?

Hey There, its funny, my 950Xl was put aside, and sometimes I charged it, updated, but not used... Never had any battery issues though. Now I am back on the latest release and although in Windows it says the battery is at 50% it stops and show the icon for the charging, does not even start...

Well, yes it is really a demand now that I know it was previously possible with the 930 Lumia, which has also 4 Mics, just like the 950XL. I would like to have this feature back...

and I am just still sitting here waiting for a 5.1/surround recording (and bassfilter) option for my 950xl...... that is the only reason I am still keeping my phone :)
