Hard reset my phone. Now can't sync any google contacts! Email is fine but no contacts.....help!

Log on to microsoft account and setup google in
"connected accounts" under Settings.

To make it work for me I had to let all the updates complete after "factory resetting" the phone.

After all the updates were completed I added Google email and contacts and finally they synced.

*I have used reset to factory settings multiple times to get the Contacts to sync.

But why are u guys sticking to Google so hard, when Outlook is doing a great job on syncing contacts?

Because Google works fine too.

Ironically I've been having an irritating issue with Outlook.com where it would duplicate contacts like there's no tomorrow! So hardly a great job, but thankfully it doesn't manifest on my phones.

True,i have all my contacts x4...i tried to unlink and delete duplicates without luck...they are back again.
Now all my contacts have 4 linked duplicates. GG
