Is it possible to control music on my phone from my band? Say my phone is in my backpack and my headphones are connected to it, can I use the band to change songs/turn volume up/down?

Not yet via the TouchScreen, which would be awesome. I really want. But if you have a Windows Phone it can all be controlled via voice control option through Cortana, currently.

So I just say "Play music", or "play artists", or "pause" or "next song/track", "stop music", etc, all work.

I'm sure this is something that will come in the future as it seems like something that is pretty basic, especially since the Band is aimed largely for those who use it as an activity tracker. I wouldn't be too surprised if some software updates come on the 21st with the rest of Microsoft's OS announcements.

    Hi,

any news or at least some new rumors about an upcooming update, that will let us use the band to controll our musicapp on windowsphones?
Thats the only missung feature, keeping me away from buying the band.
