Screen repair?

Is it possible to get the screen replaced on a 640? I cracked mine, ordered a replacement.
Thought of fixing this one to have as a backup if needed.

I cracked mine as well. You can get the glass for a few bucks on eBay as well as the LCD double sided tape. I bought the wrong size tape and have placed another order for a 3-4mm roll. When that arrives, I'll be making an attempt. I hope the hairdryer is hot enough for me to remove the cracked one. Good luck.

According to the videos I've seen, it is around the edges only.
