Check out the marketplace section of the boards. I have a unopened T-Mobile 640 there. The 650 will be a downgrade from the 640.

Basically you are comparing:

650 - better physical design, AMOLED screen, twice the internal storage

640 - larger battery, LCD screen

They are about on-par in terms of performance. (with the 650 technically having a lower-end but newer chip, which kinda canceled each other out)

If you're on AT&T you can get the 640 for an unbeatable price right now.

With T-Mobile it tends to be hit and miss with what they'll get. They never even got the cheaper version of the Lumia 1520 (the 1320) for example.

Since they dropped the 640 I would be willing to bet they probably won't be getting the 650. You can now buy the 650 unlocked at Microsoft directly for $199. I personally think it's too expensive but ymmv as they say.
