Swapping out the Qi coil

Does anyone have experience with swapping the qi coil from one back cover to another? I'm hoping to switch out my scratched Lumia 950 XL's back cover to a new one. But I don't particularly want to lose the Qi wireless charging functionality.

AFAIK, u will very hardly do that. The coil is very thin and when peeling it off it often breaks, and becomes unusable. The best solution, that is also, suggested by Microsoft is to by a new coil, and put it on the new back.

Yeah, i thought that might be the case. Have any good sources for purchasing a new one?

yes you can, you need to heat up the coil on a hair dryer and peel it as carefully as possible

Or buy a back cover that supports QI...
