Is there a difference?

I have a Lumia 640XL that I have been running the insider preview on. I dont use it often. I take it now and then and mess it with it make sure it is updated and so forth. I don't care for how FB runs and that is HUGE for me. I run and manage a page on there. I am considering upgrading to the 950. Would it be any different? Also, I have Comcast Xfinity at home and I watch things on my phone and there are no options for this on MS unless you are on a PC. If I run continum would it be able to watch things? Is there a change in software that would let me?
