Really strange, random sound on my HTC 8X

So since today I've been getting these strange sounds, tones, out of nowhere on my 8X. It's completely random, happening anywhere and at any time.

Has anybody else run into this? Any solution? Is it an app or what?

That's the NFC coming into contact with an NFC tag or device. Swipe to the left. Tap settings. Tap "tap+send" and turn it off. The sounds will stop.

That is really odd! Don't know where it is getting the signal from... All I got is a wallet case, but that hasn't got an NFC tag... Thanks anyway!

Its most likely a card in your wallet case. Try removing your phone from the wallet case, turn on tap+send again and individually tap each card in your wallet case to the back of your HTC 8X. If one of the cards you tap makes the same sound, that is the card which has a NFC tag inside it

It apperantly was my "bus card" which I use for transit... Had no idea it had NFC! Thanks so much man!
