Howdy,
I'm trying to connect to my work VPN and I get the following error, which prevents me from connecting:
"Error 850: The Extensible Authentication Protocol type required for authentication of the remote access connection is not installed on your computer."
Apparently this was common on Windows 8, but easily solved by clicking on a box in VPN properties that enabled the "Extensible Authentication Protocol", which was disabled by default. However, no such option appears to exist in Windows RT. The techs at the Microsoft Store couldn't figure it out and escalated the issue (and they did not sound optimistic about a fix). Has anyone encountered this and, more importantly, figured out how to fix it?
