I wanted to see how far we are in 2019 for them to announce the next tablets, and laptops before i make the decision to spend all of my tax money in the next coming weeks. im ready to let go of Surface Pro and upgrade to something a little more powerful and bigger. Do they usually announce something in spring, or fall?

Matthew Moniz over on YouTube already has a video up on what to expect with SB3.

Otherwise, I hear no mention of fit.

I've read/heard this Fall at the soonest, but very likely beyond that.

I decided to just pull the trigger. 13.5"/i7/16gb/512gb
The store surprised me with a price-match discount. Ended up paying $100 less than the MS store's current discounted price for my config.

Looks like we are waiting until Spring at the earliest.

Spring (or perhaps summer) makes sense, since then the SB 3 can get a real gpu upgrade.

I guess they didn't want to step on the Surface Laptop 15" announcements with a new Surface Book that is way more powerful.

I think the GPU it has works well. I am more looking for upping the RAM with the new CPUs. 32Gb would be amazing with a nice GPU in that thing.
