    is there any way to have my surface 2 act as a media sharing server so that I can access and play videos on my PlayStation 3?

    There's a registry hack that may or may not work.

    If you wanna turn on network sharing, all you have to do is go in to administration (search for it in the searchcharm) then choose services and programs, and find the service called "Sever". This service is stopped, rightclick it and choose properties, then under "starttype" (might be something else in English) where it says manual, you set it to automatic. Restart and you surface 2 should be able to share files on your network! :)
