error activating office on surface 3

each time I try activating office on the surface 3 I get either the service is not available or i cant pick a language to continue

I too get a greyed out "language" box and can not proceed further to activate Office 365. Cleared browser (IE) history, cookie etc. and the problem still persists.

I have the same problem. Solved it by install Chrome and set it as the default browser, Office activation will open in Chrome, and I was able to chose the language box.

Also, to those who have University 365 subscription, beware that activating it will convent you to Personal subscription. This results you have less installable copies than before. Currently on the phone with Surface support team to find a solution!
