it's the vocal minority and the tech press that is pushing USB-C so hard because there are virtually no USB-C devices to use and for people to make USB-C devices, they need the computers and phones to all have USB-C.
why would HP make a USB-C printer if almost no desktop computers don't have the ports? in fact, they bet on wireless printing which is much smarter.
right now, 95% of people are using USB-C just for charging. such a high tech port just for charging!
I've had to buy a new charging cable because the one that came with my Samsung Galaxy S8 is now dedicated to the car since the charging cable is a USB-C to USB-A cable and my car requires USB-A. So for me to charge at home, I needed a new cable. Meanwhile, I have tons of MicroUSB, Mini USB and USB-A cables.
Seriously, how am I not supposed to lose these dongles? Carry around a purse for them?
