Microsoft's latest Surface Pro accessories feature some fairly flamboyant designs from Finnish-company Marimekko. These new Type Covers definitely aren't cheap ($180), but they're certainly unique. The designs lean toward the feminine side of things, I think, but they're still quite cool. And I like the idea of Microsoft making more stylish Type Covers.

What do you think of the Marimekko Surface Pro Type Covers? Will you buy one? Do you like the designs? Too pricey? Or perhaps the NFL covers are more up your alley?

I think I like them... but it'd be nice to see some of the design leak over to the actually keyboard side of things too.

They are only for people with a very very very specific type of taste. For them I'm sure it'll be worth the extra price over the already overpriced tag.

I personally find them absolutely atrocious.

And when it comes to skins, dbrand is the way to go.

Hell, why not. Certainly more original and appealing than the usual "wooden" or "metal" skins, and crap like that.
